Unreal steak cut list - absolutely delicious with awesome starters and sides. This place is a great spot for a date night or to celebrate - friendly and knowledgeable staff, fun to watch your cut get crossed off the list and very enjoyable spot. You pay for what you get and there quality meats!!

The meat is soooo delicious. Some of the sides were a bit odd even for my taste but they were so fun to try. The Sauces and butters are to die for. Some of the staff was incredibly nice, others not so welcoming. Otherwise, this place is great and will be back.
Overall a good dinner at Bataeu, we’ve been dying to check it out the last few months. I was expecting a little more upscale due to the menu prices. Its pretty small inside and the tables were very close together. We were kind of squashed up against the wall and felt like we were part of the table next doors convo. I dressed up but it’s not necessary, people were dressed very casual. We had a few stellar dishes like steak tartare, mushrooms with egg was phenomenal! The burger was good but I was expecting a bit more for the price tag. The homemade donut was great but the filling was a bit off to me. They do have some great steak options on the menu, they dry age 45 days and have the cuts hanging in window.
Tasting menu was really good except for the steak course. Gristle and chewy. They said "that cut isn't for everyone" I agree it's for people that eat at 24 hour diners. Not for people who spend $150 a plate for a "chef" tasting menu. We finished everything except the steak.
I can’t speak more highly of this restaurant. I’ve been talking about it all week - the concept, the service, and the food. The dishes that blew me away were their signature salad and the potato ice cream (ik ik ik). Jamie took care of me and was patient, friendly, and was a sweetheart through and through.
Go. Just go.
Had the chef’s tasting menu for birthday celebration. Definitely a great experience to savor the food. Each dish is unique in flavor. Allow yourself about 2 hours or more to enjoy the whole dining experience.
Oh my... haven't had steak this good in a loooooong time. Everything tasted delicious, the room was pretty small and not too loud which was a perfect setting to have a nice dinner. All the waitresses were very nice and knowledgeable, and recommended us the perfect piece of meat. Waiting time was very reasonable, and their cocktails are good too!
Again RE has pulled out all the design stops for impressive results, even restrooms are amazing, & space feels very comfortable. We were a party of 4 on a Wednesday & while my companions thought the food was really tasty, I was a bit underwhelmed, especially considering the cost (wine list selections & prices feel precious) & time commitment involved (there was significant waiting for service/food/drinks). Others particularly liked this concept but I prefer Westward or Whale Wins.
